I don't have any experience teaching - Does that matter?

Not at all!

Most of our tutors joined us without prior teaching experience. BPP offers a comprehensive induction including teacher training for all new tutors, followed by continuing professional development, including the opportunity to gain industry-recognised teaching qualifications.

What are the benefits to working with BPP Group?

You will be provided with an unrivalled opportunity to teach across a range of different programmes at different levels and to different audiences .A teaching career with us is one of the most varied in the whole sector ensuring no two days are the same.

BPP offer a wide range of benefits to our staff, including private medical insurance, 33 days annual leave (30 days for non-teaching staff) and you can study any of BPP’s courses for free – be it a professional qualification or full degree. 


What qualifications do I need?

For most law tutor roles, we need you to be a qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales; meaning that you will at least have completed your pupillage, training contract or relevant apprenticeship. 

Some post-qualification experience, usually around three years, is desirable But, no teaching qualification is required.

What if I don't want to stop practicing? 

If you don't want to stop practicing, but you still want to consider roles in Education, please reach out to us, so we can discuss this.

Most of our law tutor vacancies can be offered on a part-time basis, or you may wish to consider working for us as a freelancer rather than an employee.
